Thanks. The election will bring to light how out of balance the system is in favor of BigOil, and why “Blood for Oil” is even worse today. Then maybe then, alternative energy providers can get a fair shake as people write and demand that we want change to their local, state and federal leaders.

We should also all push these lawmakers to provide extra incentives to companies like ours that eliminate waste. We also need to make sure that any process should not contribute to global warming or add to air pollution like we see with incineration.

The elections are getting ever closer, and the polititians are talking about energy and the ways to produce more fuel. They seem to think we can drill ourselves out of this black hole. We will only deplete our reserves. The reserves were set aside to protect our country if there were a conflict with the people who control the oil. Hmm, I wonder if this is what they meant. Why not develop alternative fuels like yours while we still have the ability. Soon we will be dependant on more than just oil. we will have no one to build and repair the machines that produce this oil. Our trade schools are dwindling.What we need is a "Great Nation " lobby, and stop voting against our country's best interest. We need to inform our politico's of our concerns. The best way to get your tax breaks extended is to call your state senators and representatives. As soon as that is done call every representative and senator in the United States. many times. This done, every friend of the working class should do the same. These people should understand their constituents will benefit from this. It is in the best interest of our citizens to get out from under foreign oil,and clean up our waste.

The tax would be on fossil fuels based upon Btu content. The place to tax would be at the source. Once it gets into the distribution system too many points to collect, audit and catch cheaters.

Like the drug victim we are drowning in the results of our exesses. our garbage is choking us as surely as the sun shines. There seems to be little understanding of what good the waste to oil process can do. I have spoken often to many people regarding this and the response was, "It's not possible. There isn't enough oil in the waste to produce fuel." They don't understand the process.
I drove from Portland Or. to Carthage Missouri last summer and to see for myself. I spoke to the Mayor, and some townspeople. It is happening and the information isn't getting out. Those of us on the West Coast are relatively open to new technologies. the removal of garbage is an exciting idea
If alternative energy were too far away we wouldn't be saddled with ethanol that is hydroscopic , adds water to our gas, increases our food prices, and messes up our fuel injectors. We lose 20% of our gas mileage to boot.
We need to put Changing World Technology on the map. people need to know about CWT. How can we make this happen? This process will do what needs to be done. the other alternatives fall short of what is necesary.

I wasn't aware of the crooked subsidies that Big Oil has arranged for itself, nor that media silence is maintained on them.

I was thinking of CWT the other day when I read of South Carolina and its huge cesspools of pig manure generated by its feedlot pork industry. There is something appealingly ironic about the state that started the Civil War slowly drowning in a sea of excrement.

I am no fan of feedlots and can't wait till they're abolished but in the meantime would this be suitable feedstock for TP?

I don't believe it. This is exactly what crosses my mind every time there is another disaster. Try this on China's blue-green algae (where is this going now?). Recently Milwaukee, Wi had a problem will contaminated milorganite that I understand ended up in a licensed toxic landfill in Indiana. This unit would be fantastic. Good luck.

We have some devlopers who are moving at different paces. The economic downturn has impacted some of our developers, but we are getting there.

It is sad that we can come up with great ideas, watch our leadership say we are going to change and then presto, its back to the old ways of drilling... I think when they say we need to move to alternatives it is code for cutting the the alternative energy budgets.

It is still crazy to me that we think alternative energy is expensive. Oil is expensive except they have hidden, and very well all of their subsidies.

I'm another one that has followed your progress for quite some time, and has been a bit disheartened at the lack of momentum (although I'm always happy to learn that although slowly, you guys are still chugging along).

I had really hoped that the current energy crunch would have put a bit more of a spotlight on you guys, and perhaps there is still some time.

I noted in the news a couple of days ago that the BLM has placed a hold on some Solar Plants pending "environmental studies." Although they are trying to blame those "environmentalist wackos" for it; I'd place even money that it is more of those "status quo" types finding an easy scapegoat.

I hope you have been watching NanoSolar; I couldn't believe that the good old US could come up with such an incredible technology, only to have the entire first years production bought by Germany!!!

You raise a good point. However, how would this impact your own business? Why would we want to have a btu tax on recycled carbon-based fuels? What structure do you propose for a btu tax to ensure that only "new" carbon sources ("new" meaning old, below the ground sources) are taxed? And how would you treat btu's from other sources such as nuclear? Where would the tax be collected--at the refinery and mine?

I remember some of your early PR (CBS Evening News, Discover Magazine), where you showed how you could turn old tires, ground-up computer equipment, sewage sludge, and just about any other carbon-based "feedstock" into oil and other needed elements such as carbon and sulfur. What ever happened to that? Do you have a future plant on the drawing boards to deal with those feedstock types, or is it just turkey parts for now, and if so, is turkey parts the type of feedstock that has the highest payback?

Also, in regards to the RES plant in Carthage, have you thought of doing the grinding-turkey-parts-into-slurry work at the actual Butterball plant and then sending it to your plant via a pipeline? It seems like the current method of trucking the waste would be 1) fuel-inefficient, with all of the trucks; 2) messy, with blood and other goodies seeping out of the truck beds; and 3) smelly.
